Seasonal Tax Preparer

Kforce is seeking a Seasonal Tax Preparer in Saline, MI. This role involves preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns, conducting client interviews, researching complex tax issues, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will be an Enrolled Agent or CPA with at least 5 years of tax preparation experience, proficient in Lacerte software, and able to work extended hours during peak season.

Must Have

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns accurately and efficiently
• Conduct thorough tax interviews with clients to gather necessary information
• Research complex tax issues and provide solutions to clients
• Timely Communication with clients to address questions and concerns regarding their tax situations
• Stay up to date on changes in tax laws and regulations
• Enrolled Agent or CPA license required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation
• Proficiency in Lacerte tax preparation software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work extended hours during peak tax season

Kforce has a client in Saline, MI that is seeking a Seasonal Tax Preparer. Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned Enrolled Agent or CPA to join our team for the upcoming tax season. As a Tax Professional, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals and businesses while ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax preparation, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of IRS guidelines. Responsibilities:

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
